This policy explains how Roteie handles personal data under the EU GDPR, UK GDPR, and other privacy laws that apply to the user.

2. Data collected

• Account: email, name, and identifier.
• Usage: prompts, scripts, templates, creative briefs, and frequency.
• Technical: IP, browser, and essential cookies.
• Payment: identifiers from the provider shown at checkout; Roteie does not store full card details.

3. Purposes

• Provide and protect the service.
• Manage limits, subscriptions, and support.
• Improve the product using aggregate data.
• Meet legal obligations.

4. Providers

We use Supabase for authentication and storage, third-party language-model services for script generation, and Creem as Merchant of Record for checkout, tax, subscription, fraud, and refund processing. We do not sell personal data.

5. Retention and rights

We retain account, project, and billing-reference data only as needed to provide the service, protect against abuse, and meet legal obligations. Request access, correction, portability, or deletion at support@roteie.com.

6. Cookies

We use essential authentication cookies. Creem checkout may use technologies required for payment, fraud prevention, and compliance.
